I started Bridal Prep in Room 59 at Waterton Park Hotel Wakefield where Amy, her aunts and bridesmaids were getting ready with her – and then later joined by her little flower girl!

Amy’s dress was a simple and elegant number with a lace bolero, with a sparkle belt to be worn in the evening to give her dress two different looks.

The ceremony was planned fo 1pm in the Waterton Suite and it was so lovely to see the room so full of people.

The bridesmaids walked down the aisle in pairs, before Amy walked down the aisle with her uncle Peter to meet David, and Dexter (the dog!) at the bottom of the Aisle

The ceremony was so lovely with a poem read by one of the bridesmaids. 

And it was so lovely to see Mr & Mrs Minney finally get married!

After the ceremony we headed straight outside for a confetti photograph and then to start group photographs and the drinks reception.

There was quite a bit of a breeze but was lovely to not be too warm too!

The previous date that Amy & David had booked had rained so this was definately meant to be.

After the group photographs, thats when we started with photographs of the new Mr & Mrs, and we had Ben Cumming Photography join us to grab some drone images!

After group photographs it was time to head inside for the Wedding Breakfast, then speeches were delivered after the meal by Uncle of the Bride, Maid of Honour, Groom and Best man, and even the bride got up and said a few words!

We headed down to the Boathouse at Waterton Park Hotel Wakefield for the evening reception.

Amy had organised a surprise for David for their first dance, where she had a song produced just for them telling the story! And…she had learnt all the words so she could sing it during the dance too!

Did you even know that was a thing!?

The rain was trying to threaten, so a buffet of Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Chips was the chilled-out meal of choice!

Finishing the evening off with some sparkler fun definately rounded off a fabulous wedding day!
