The Pre-Wedding Shoot
When you book the Embrace Collection, your pre-wedding shoot is included.
This relaxed session is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and helps me see how you naturally interact as a couple — so everything feels easy and natural on your wedding day. It also gives us the chance to capture some beautiful moments of just the two of you.
Pre-shoots can sometimes take place at your wedding venue (with permission), but many are held at Newmillerdam, Wakefield. If you have a meaningful location in mind, I’m happy to discuss this, although additional travel charges may apply.
Your session takes place 6 weeks to 6 months before the wedding, lasts around 30–60 minutes, and weekend availability is limited.
After the shoot, you’ll receive a private online gallery to download your images.

Availability
When planning your wedding, having clear information upfront makes everything easier — which is why I always aim to share as much detail as possible from the start.
If you’re looking for something a little different from the pricing shown, please feel free to email for a bespoke quote. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
To check availability for your wedding date, you can email us or send a message via Facebook or Instagram.
To ensure every couple receives the best possible experience, I limit bookings to around 20 weddings per year (approximately four per month).
The Timeline of your Wedding
Pre-Wedding Consultation
Pre-Wedding Consultation
I offer all couples a no-obligation pre-wedding consultation. This can be done in person, online or via the telephone.
Can I book?
If you wish to book at your consultation then we will send you our wedding contract and invoice. The booking fee is up to £250 depending on the package you choose. I cannot hold your date without the payment of your booking fee and a signed contract.
Church Ceremonies
If you are having a church ceremony, we will try and aim to attend the rehearsal so we can discuss photography in full with your officiant.
The Final Checks
6 weeks before the Wedding I will send you your Wedding Questionnaire for you to go through. This is best filled in when you’ve had your final meeting with the Wedding Venue.
Your Wedding Balance is due 4 weeks before the wedding date.
I always plan a last minute catch up on the week leading up to your Wedding so we can talk final last minute changes, confirm attendance timings – but also have a contingency wet weather plan for photos if needed!
On the Day – helpful tips
Here are just a few bits of helpful advice for the day.
Make sure you have something to eat regardless of whether you are feeling sick or nervous or not hungry! (this goes for grooms too!) you don’t want to faint during the ceremony!
Leave plenty of time to get ready and tell everyone they must be there earlier than they should be there to save you the worry of important people turning up late. Especially if your bridesmaids are getting ready elsewhere.

After the Wedding
Your wedding images will be ready to view two Calendar months (approximately 8 weeks) after the Wedding. You will be emailed an online gallery to view your images. You can also download from this gallery for printing too.
For The Embrace collection when you have chosen the Wedding images you would like in your album, the design process begins – this normally takes 2 weeks, and when approved your album will take around 6 weeks to be delivered.
The Not So Small Small Print
- All booking fee payments are due in full at the time of booking and signature of the contract
- Any faulty products will be replaced.
- Payment is accepted via all major Debit and Credit cards via online invoice or payment link, BACS or cash at the studio.
